U-8 with Custom T-18 Turning Rolls
The WEBB Corporation’s Track Supports provide an economical answer to your problem of positioning an automatic welding head over various types of work. They are normally used in conjunction with portable turning rolls or fixed base turning rolls where it is desired to weld tanks or cylindrical work. They are however, quite frequently used in conjunction with welding positioners, seam welding devices and various other types of jigs and fixtures where rapid and accurate positioning of welding head is required. All models are fabricated with a heavy steel construction. The column slide surfaces are machined, and the slide castings are also machined to ensure the accuracy required in automatic welding. All models are equipped with vertical power adjustment, which are driven by an electric motor with V-belt pulley that drive through a countershaft to a totally enclosed worm gear. All models are also equipped with power hydraulic lateral swing adjustment. The bases of all machines are provided with anchor holes for mounting on level-concrete shop floors. *Welding equipment not included* Lower picture is for reference*
